After graduating from Kansas City Art Institute in 2015, Emily Elhoffer is an early career artist that has been working in St. Louis, MO. She studied with an emphasis in sculpture, and uses a variety of mediums to illustrate her ideas. Process driven and lengthy, her practice utilizes forms that evoke and abstract the body, inside and out. Flesh and skin are a common theme throughout her work. Emily has shown in St. Louis and Kansas City in a handful of group exhibitions, has hosted panels on artmaking, and juried artist submissions for public art. Currently Emily is working in St. Louis to build a fabrication facility for fellow artists and craftspeople.
